How to allow Detectify to access your site

Last Updated: May 09, 2019 04:40PM CEST

Whitelisting scanner traffic from our domain, IP ranges, and User-Agent

In order to allow our scanner to test your website, you might have to whitelist our scanner. We are using Amazon as our provider and our data centres are located in Ireland.

If you are able to track or whitelist on a domain level, you can opt to whitelist scanner.detectify.com. You can also whitelist the originating IPs of the scanner traffic:

52.17.9.21
52.17.98.131

If the scanner does not resolve your site even after whitelisting the above IP addresses, you might also want to check that you are not blocking the scanner's default or custom User-Agent. It is possible to customize the scanner's User-Agent on the Scan Settings page. We recommend that you change the User-Agent if you choose to whitelist it in order to mitigate the risk of a malicious party spoofing our default User-Agent.
